After graduating from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, California in 2001 with a BS in Public Accounting and a minor in Mathematics, Nathan joined the CPA firm of Barbich Longcrier Hooper & King. He provided accounting, tax planning, and tax preparation services for various multi-state and multinational corporations, as well as many smaller companies, individuals, estates and trusts. Nathan has his CPA license through the California Board of Accountancy and is an active member of the California Society of CPA’s. In 2003, Nathan joined ACI Jet as Controller and later was given the title of Chief Financial Officer in 2006. Nathan grew up with a fascination of aviation, and when offered the position with ACI Jet, saw it as an opportunity to once again be a part of the aviation community. Nathan has since become an expert in various financial, regulatory, and administrative aspects of the industry.
Olivier Leclercq was born and raised in Roubaix, France. He volunteered and enrolled with the French Paratrooper’s on his 17th birthday and later served as the youngest ever non-commissioned officer of a RPIMA Paratrooper French Marine’s Regiment. After the military, he joined Decathlon, which was founded by his father in 1976. During his time there, Olivier proved himself as an accomplished businessman and entrepreneur. In 1986 He initiated the production of numerous products and spent 12 years based in various Asian countries. Following that, he progressed with the company as a Board Member, Audit Committee President, Chairman of the Investment Strategic Committees, and ultimately served as the Group President. By the time Olivier left in 2012, he had grown Decathlon into the largest sporting good production and retail organization in the world, employing over 55,000 people in 20 countries with over a dozen specific brands.
He is succeeded at Decathlon by his younger brother Matthieu and has since then served as a Managing General Partner and Vice President of the Strategic Committee for the Mulliez family holdings which employs more than 520,000 people in various industries throughout 30+ countries. Mr. Leclercq joined ACI Jet as an investor and Executive Vice President in 2014. With his extensive background in the retail industry, he brings a deep knowledge of and passion for marketing and the customer experience to the company.
Bill Borgsmiller started his aviation career at the age of 12 by working part-time for a small 135 operation in Red Bluff, CA that flew Cessna 210s’ in support of Forrest Service operations. Over the next 6 years, Mr. Borgsmiller worked for and managed the small FBO at the Red Bluff Airport while working to obtain his Commercial Pilot’s License and A&P Certificate. After graduating High School, he attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Science and furthered his flight training with the addition of an ATP, CFI, CFII, MEI, and SES ratings. Upon completion of college, Mr. Borgsmiller moved to Redding, CA where he worked as a First Officer and Co-Captain for Sierra Pacific Industries aboard their King Air 200, Conquest II, and Hawker 1000. In 1998, he founded ACI Jet and spent two years working as a regional representative for Texaco aviation products covering Northern CA and Nevada from his home base in San Luis Obispo. Since leaving that position, he has worked full time within his business as the President and CEO. During his time with ACI Jet he has also graduated from Harvard Business School’s General Management program, obtained his rotorcraft license, and completed the NBAA Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) certification.
